Declan Bonner was counting the cost of Donegal's missed chances after their 1-10 to 0-17 All-Ireland MFC final defeat to Kerry.
The Donegal manager admitted that there was "devastation inside the dressing-room" after his charges suffered a first defeat since their U16 days.
"We created a couple of goal opportunities that we didn't take and you have to take those chances on All-Ireland final day," the 1992 All-Ireland winning forward lamented.
"Jamie Brennan took a good chance, but we had others we didn't take, we just couldn't get our noses in front.
"They (Kerry) probably did shade it, but I felt we had chances to win it and I felt our lads were in a good place - but you have to take your chances when they arise. Kerry overall probably deserved it."
