Tir Chonaill Gaels and London goalkeeper Declan Traynor is not daunted in any way by the prospect of facing his old club Fulham Gaels in Sunday's county senior football championship final.

Traynor was part of the Fulham side that won the county title in 2011, but following a lengthy transfer saga, he moved to TCG.

However, the Meath native feels that there will be no sub plot when the sides meet in Sunday's final and all anyone is focused on is winning.

"It doesn't come into it at all," Traynor told the Irish Post when asked about transferring to Fulham's main rivals. "I'm looking forward to the final and when you start to bring personal things in you lose your focus.

"We have got to win the match no matter who we are playing. We've good management and good players and our focus is on the job at hand, not anything else."
