Leinster and Ireland star Sean O'Brien lined out for the Fighting Cocks in Division Five of the Carlow football league last night.

The Tullow Tank, who has also been helping out the Carlow senior football team this year, helped inspire his team to a 3-6 to 0-11 victory, having been left out of Ireland's Tour of Argentina to recover from injury.

The flanker came on as a substitute for Leinster in Saturday's Rabodirect Pro12 final victory over Glasgow, but switched codes and turned to junior 'B' gaelic football on Bank Holiday Monday.

On the evidence of his performance last night, O'Brien could soon force his way into the Cocks' first team!

The club tweeted a picture of O'Brien in action: "We take our Junior B seriously in Carlow #YouTakeHimIllTakeTheSmallLad"
