Paul Galvin and Peter Canavan are being lined up for punditry roles with Sky Sports.

The Irish Independent is reporting that the former All-Ireland winners will be the faces of Sky's Gaelic football coverage this summer. Sky Sports News anchor Rachel Wyse, from Co. Kildare, and Premier League pundit Niall Quinn, who played for Dublin in the 1983 All-Ireland minor hurling final against Galway, are expected to be unveiled as presenters in the next fortnight.

Tyrone legend Canavan was a pundit with TV3 up until last year, while recently-retired Kerry star Galvin has appeared on TG4 as a match analyst on a number of occasions.

Many GAA supporters are still coming to terms with the controversial TV rights deal with the British pay-per-view broadcaster, which will have exclusive rights to 14 championship matches each year until 2017, in addition to shared coverage of the senior football and hurling finals.
