Kildare midfielder Sean Hurley is rumoured to be heading to Australia at the end of the year to begin a career in the AFL.

Hurley is set to fellow his club mate Daniel Flynn out to Oz, but he is set to join the Freemantle club whereas Flynn is with Port Adelaide.

Recently, Hurley, Flynn, Paddy Brophy and Flynn's younger brother Luke attended AFL trials held by Tadgh Kennelly in London and scouts were impressed by Hurley.

Flynn is returning to Oz this week, but it is believed that Hurley will not be heading over until Kildare's interest in this year's championship is over.
