Dineen: Cork's style will suit us

Roscommon under-21 manager Nigel Dineen feels that Cork's direct style of play will be different to what they have faced so far in the campaign.

The Rossies take on the Rebels in the All-Ireland under-21 semi final this Saturday afternoon having looked very impressive coming through the Connacht campaign.

However, they face a different proposition in the form of Cork, who completed a four in a row of Munster titles when defeating Tipp last week.

Speaking to the Roscommon Herald, Dineen said: "Cork play an orthodox game. We won't have to break down a massed defence or anything like that.

"It will be 15 v. 15 and each man will be battling for his place, trying to win his own personal battle. The team that win primary possession around the middle of the field will be the team that pushes on and wins."
