Declan O'Sullivan is expected to return to training with Kerry next week.

The Irish Examiner reports that the Dromid Pearses clubman is to cut short the break from football he agreed with manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice.

The four-time All-Ireland winner won't be available for selection for this weekend's clash against Westmeath but Kieran Donaghy and Killian Young could both feature against the Lake County.

The pair are well advanced in their respective rehabilitation programmes but it is most likely that they will be held in reserve for the final round clash against Munster rivals Cork on Sunday week.
