Have you seen Tony Browne's hurl?

Has anyone seen Tony Browne's hurl.
A fresh appeal has been issued for a hurl belonging to Waterford legend Tony Browne to be returned.

The hurl, which holds a lot of sentimental value to Browne, went missing whilst the 40-year-old was signing autographs for young fans after last Saturday week's All-Ireland qualifier win over Westmeath in Mullingar.

Speaking to last week's Westmeath Topic, the Mount Sion clubman said: "I have been using it for a good few years now. It has my name, Tony Browne, on it and it has a black strap with no band on it.

"I would be very grateful if the hurl could be returned. I will give a signed Waterford jersey and a hurl to whoever can return my hurl."

The Westmeath county board is now appealing to supporters and clubs for the safe return of the precious caman.

"If you or anyone in your club knows the whereabouts of the hurl, perhaps they would be good enough to return same to the office in Cusack Park, Mullingar and arrangements will be made to get the hurl to Tony Browne (Waterford). Thanking all Clubs in anticipation of their assistance in this matter," a statement read.
