Durcan to join century club
01 March 2013
Donegal keeper Paul Durcan
Donegal goalkeeper Paul Durcan is set to make his 100th appearance for the county this weekend.
Durcan will line out in goals as the All-Ireland champions take on Tyrone in the Allianz NFL division 1 at Healy Park on Sunday afternoon.
In doing so, he will become the fifth member of the squad to reach the 100 mark after Karl Lacey, Eamonn McGee, Neil McGee and Neil Gallagher all did so towards the end of last year's campaign.
The 29-year-old admitted to the Donegal Democrat that to reach such a landmark was very satisfying indeed.
He said: "It shows there's plenty of experience there," said Durcan. "There's a core of us that have been around a while and from a personal point of view, it's nice to make it."
