Donnelly: good start counts for nothing
01 March 2013
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte and his assistant Tony Donnelly
Tony Donnelly says Tyrone's impressive start to 2013 will count for nothing against Donegal.
Mickey Harte's men boast a 100% record in all competitions so far this year but that will be tested to the limit when the All-Ireland champions roll into Healy Park on Sunday afternoon for what promises to be a magnificent round-three NFL encounter.
"It has put us in a good position, but we know that next day out, no matter how many wins you have, no matter what your record is, it counts for nothing," the Red Hands assistant says in The Examiner
"It's the All-Ireland champions we're facing, we'll look forward to that, but we know what a mighty challenge it's going to be.
"The competition from the teams we're facing is of the highest calibre. We wanted to be back in Division One, and we're delighted we are, but we know it won't be easy."
