Frost to take over at Munster helm
February 08, 2013

Robert Frost. INPHO
Robert Frost from Clare will be named as new Munster Council chairman tonight.
The O'Callaghan Mills clubman - a former chairman of Clare County Board - succeeds the outgoing Sean Walsh (Kerry) at tonight's Munster Concil Convention in Bunratty.
Frost is current vice-chairman and ran unopposed for the chair, which he will occupy for the next three years.
Jerry O'Sullivan, a former Cork County Board chairman, will take over as Munster Council vice-chairman. He too was unopposed following the withdrawal of Tipp's Donie Shanahan.
Limerick's Michael Fitzgerald and Tipperary man Ed Donnelly will be retained unopposed as treasurer and PRO respectively, leaving a healthy mix of counties involved in the executive.
