Cribbin makes Collingwood debut

March 07, 2012

Kildare's Paul Cribben
Paul Cribbin made his first appearance for Aussie Rules club Collingwood in their 79-70 round two NAB Cup defeat to Melbourne last Saturday night.

The Johnstownbridge youngster, who would be lining out for the Kildare U21s against Offaly in Gracefield tonight had he not embarked on a career in the AFL, was joined in the action by the Down duo Marty Clarke and Caolan Mooney. Introduced late in the pre-season game, Cribbin made five possessions, a mark and two inside 50s.

Clarke played the entire second half in what was his first game for Collingwood since returning from two season with Down, while Mooney was only playing an Australian Rules game for the second time in his career.
