Dublin are likely to appeal Diarmuid Connolly's red card which would rule him out of Dublin's All-Ireland SFC final showdown with Kerry next month.
Under the rules adopted by the GAA at this year's Congress, the match referee cannot be asked to retrospectively deal with an incident after the match ends. However, Dublin are likely to use video evidence to argue that the offence was not worthy of a straight red card.
The CCCC are likely to propose a four week suspension but Dublin can at that point request a personal hearing before the CHC.
The St Vincent's ace had just won a free in the 58th minute when he clashed with Donegal's Marty Boyle which led to his dismissal.
