McCrabbe expects Galway improvement

Dublin's Alan McCrabbe is expecting an improved display from Galway this weekend.

The Tribesmen were far from their fluent best in their stuttering win over Westmeath at Mullingar but Dubs All Star McCrabbe believes John McIntyre's charges will be a different proposition at Tullamore for Saturday's Leinster semi-final:

"They went down there and they knew they were going into a battle and weren't going to get things handy. Everyone was saying they were going to win by 25 or 30 points, stuff like that.

"We knew that Westmeath would give them a game but we wouldn't take too much out of it. Against us, they'll probably have a different team with a totally different set-up.

"We'll look after ourselves and see how we get on against them.

"This will be our biggest challenge. The league was a bonus at the end of the day but the championship is your main thing. We went in against Offaly but the main thing was to come out with a win.

"We're going to have to up that an awful lot going into the Galway game because we know Galway are biting at the bit to get at us and knock us down from the league final. So it's down to us to get a performance on the day."
