Kerry GAA teams will soon have a new crest on their jerseys, county board chairman Jerome Conway has revealed.

Several county boards have designed new crests in recent years in a bid to protect commercial and merchandising rights, and now the Kingdom are following suit. Conway told delegates at last Monday night's county board meeting that Kerry have been unable to secure copyright for their current crest, and that steps are now being taken to design a new crest ahead of the start of the 2012 campaign.
