Former Meath manager Colm Coyle has been unveiled as the new manager of Kildare club team Celbridge.

The former All-Ireland winner has built up an impressive CV in management as he has also managed the Monaghan footballers as well as Westmeath club side Coralstown/Kinnegad.

Celbridge last won the county title in 2008 and Coyle believes that he can help the side regain the title given the talent he has at his disposal.

"They have a very good squad of players and a good set up. Barney did a great job with them and led them to a senior championship in 2008," said Coyle.

"My aim would be to do the same and they certainly seem to have the potential," added Coyle, who managed Meath to an All-Ireland semi-final in 2007.
