Rain forecast for Sunday's final

September 03, 2010

Bring your raingear on Sunday
Fans attending Sunday's All-Ireland hurling final have been advised to bring their raincoats and umbrellas.

Met Eireann says rain is expected, although it won't be as heavy as last year when Kilkenny defeated Tipp by five points.

"It looks like we will have rain on Sunday and it will be breezy too," Met Eireann forecaster Joan Blackburn said.

She added that it will remain humid, with temperatures at about 16 or 17 degrees Celsius.

Some rain is also expected tomorrow after what has been one of the driest weeks of the year.
