Waterford's Ken McGrath
Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald has left established stars Ken McGrath, Aidan Kearney and the Prendergast brothers, Seamus and Declan, out of his team for Monday's Munster SHC semi-final against Clare.

Rookie Liam Lawlor has been chosen ahead of Declan Prendergast and Tallow's Mark O'Brien for the full back position, while veteran Tony Browne returns at right half back for what will be his first competitive game since last year's All-Ireland semi-final defeat against Kilkenny.

Jamie Nagle, who has shaken off a hamstring injury, takes over the left half back slot from the experienced Kearney, with All-Star Michael 'Brick' Walsh manning the centre.

There's a new midfield pairing in Shane O'Sullivan and Richie Foley, and in a revamped attack that features Dan Shanahan's return at right half forward, the team will be captained by Stephen Molumphy on the opposite flank.

Meanwhile, Dan Shanahan's younger brother Maurice, who played in last Wednesday's Munster under 21 championship defeat by Cork, makes his full championship debut at top of the left, having featured as a sub last year.
