Kerry cruised into the Cadbury Munster U21FC final following this thrashing of Waterford at Fraher Field, Dungarvan yesterday.

The home side failed to score from play, but were still in the game at half-time when they trailed by 0-2 to 0-6. But the Kingdom upped the ante in the second half and outscored their outclassed opponents by 1-12 to 0-1. Paul Geaney was Waterford's chief tormentor as he helped himself to 1-5 from play in a man of the match display.

Kerry, who also enjoyed a comfortable first round victory over All-Ireland champions Cork, will now face Tipperary in the provincial decider. Tweet
