Munster U21FC: Kingdom wallop Waterford

March 21, 2010
Kerry cruised into the Cadbury Munster U21FC final following this thrashing of Waterford at Fraher Field, Dungarvan yesterday.

Kerry 1-18
Waterford 0-3

The home side failed to score from play, but were still in the game at half-time when they trailed by 0-2 to 0-6. But the Kingdom upped the ante in the second half and outscored their outclassed opponents by 1-12 to 0-1. Paul Geaney was Waterford's chief tormentor as he helped himself to 1-5 from play in a man of the match display.

Kerry, who also enjoyed a comfortable first round victory over All-Ireland champions Cork, will now face Tipperary in the provincial decider.
