Former Kerry captain Darran O'Sullivan admits that the Kingdom are still finding their stride this year.

O'Sullivan came on for the last 15 minutes of the facile win over Galway last weekend and he admits that he was impressed by the team's performance.

"It has been a slow start to the league with fellas away and that but I think in the last two games we have shown glimpses of what we are capable of. We are still finding our feet but the few new lads who have come in have done very well," said O'Sullivan.

"I'm only back a few weeks myself but there is great excitement and a good buzz at training. With so many fellas away it is bound to be a bit weird inside at training, and with the new fellas they're bound to be a bit quiet at the start but it's just about getting back to normal now."

This weekend, Kerry host Mayo at Austin Stack Park, Tralee, needing another win to stave off the threat of relegation.
