Morgan justice "a joke" but Geezer ain't laughing

Kildare's Morgan O'Flaherty
Kieran McGeeney has labelled the disciplinary measures imposed on Morgan O'Flaherty "a joke".
In the wake of the now-notorious O'Byrne Cup fracas against Laois, the Kildare player has been hammered with an eight-week ban after what he claims was a case of mistaken identity.
His appeal to Leinster Council's Central Hearing Committee fell on deaf ears and McGeeney feels that the player has got a raw deal:
"I think that's a joke. The questions they asked. They seemed to know who they think it was but 'seeing as we don't have anybody we're just going to charge you'. I can't say anything about referees because I'll get suspended, but that system is ridiculous.
"I haven't a leg to stand on at the minute in terms of discipline so I'm not going to pontificate to anybody. But in terms of Morgan, the questions they asked him were ridiculous.
"He feels 'what's the point?'. You show photographs, and everybody who's there knows you didn't do it. He says everybody feels they know who did do it."
