Clare battled back superbly to beat Wicklow by 1-9 to 0-11 in their Division Four opener at Ennis.

Micko's Wicklow dominated the first half and the Garden County looked likely winners as they led by five points at the break, 0-7 to 0-2.

However, the hosts refused to roll over and a goal from Gearoid Lynch on the hour effectively turned this game on its head.

David Turbidy struck the decisive point two minutes from time to complete the brilliant comeback.
