Offaly, Louth, Cavan and Antrim all got early points on the board in Division Three of the national football league.

The Faithful County beat Fermanagh by 1-13 to 1-10 in Tullamore and Louth maintained their excellent start to the calendar year with a 0-13 to 1-8 win over Wexford in Drogheda.

Cavan produced one of the performances of the day to thump Roscommon by double scores in Dr Hyde Park, 2-20 to 1-10, while Antrim got the winning start they craved when beating Sligo by 1-12 to 0-14 at Casement Park. Tweet
