Monaghan preparing without Freeman

Monaghan manager Seamus McEnaney insists he is planning without Tommy Freeman for Saturday's All-Ireland qualifier against Armagh, though he remains hopeful the player will be available.
The former All-Star will make a last-ditch appeal to the Disputes Resolution Authority tomorrow night against his eight-week ban - less than 24 hours before the do-or-die local derby clash in Clones. The appeal will be heard in Navan after both the Central Hearings Committee and Central Appeals Committee refused to uphold his earlier appeals.
"We work within a system of play and the personnel that are within that system are not really a big issue. For this occasion, we need someone to fill the number 15 jersey," McEnaney said.
"Tommy has worn that jersey and played that role for a long time. It's just another part of our system and someone will slot into it."
