Munster MFC: Clare come good in second half

Inspired by substitute Seamus Lynch, Clare produced a stunning second half performance to overcome Waterford in this ESB Munster MFC first round clash at Dungarvan last night. Clare 1-15 Waterford 1-5 The Kilmurray-Ibrickane clubman scored 0-5 following his introduction in the second half as Clare recovered from a 0-5 to 1-3 interval deficit to run out comfortable winners. The visitors had raced into an early 0-5 to 0-1 lead before a brilliant goal from full forward Kenneth Moore helped Waterford take the lead at half-time. But Clare took complete control after the restart, drawing level within minutes before Conor Ryan's 45th minute goal put the result beyond doubt.
