U21FC: Champs Kildare have it so easy

Reigning provincial champions Kildare an out comfortable 13-point winners against Wexford in the opening round of the Cadbury's Leinster U21FC. Kildare 0-17 Wexford 0-4 The home side started well in Bunclody and led by 0-3 to 0-2 early on but a run of six successive points saw the Lilywhites lead by 0-8 to 0-3 at the break. With Ciaran Creaven in fine scoring from for Kildare, they added six more points without reply - a run of 12 points without a flag from the home side - to take a commanding 0-14 to 0-3 advantage.
