Cork stroll to McGrath Cup win

Cork 1-13 University of Limerick 0-6 Cork claimed an impressive victory over the University of Limerick in the McGrath Cup final at Pairc Ui Rinn on Saturday night. Having advanced to the final for the first time, UL had been seeking a breakthrough victory for third-level colleges but had no answer to an impressive showing from the Rebels. Conor McCarthy, the Cork captain, helped himself to four points and Seamus Hayes bagged 1-1 following his second half introduction to end any UL resistance.
