The categories are as follows:- Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music Group, Set Dancing, Poetry/Story Telling, Ballad Group Singing, Quiz, Novelty Act(10 mins). We are looking for young people to represent the Castleconnor GAA Club and Parish. If you are interested in taking part, please contact our scór co-ordinator Connie Barrins @ 36970. Weekend Away: The club is organising a weekend away in Gallagher's Hotel in Letterkenny on Friday/Saturday November 21st/22nd. For more please contact John Judge @ 086-2501549. Castleconnor GAA Lotto: The GAA lotto jackpot now stands at ?3750 as there was no winning ticket of the ?3600 jackpot when the draw took place on Saturday night in Muddy Burns. The winning numbers were 5, 6, 14 and 19. The following people matched 3 numbers: James Maloney Co. Clare, Tina Curley Bunninurla, Castleconnor Marie Hughes, Corballa Castleconnor and Emer Malaney, Cork. The house draw was won by John Ruane, Dooneen. Under 13: Well done to the under 13 team who were winners of the west division in the Feile competition. We will be expecting tough opposition in the quarter final(Time/Date/Venue TBC) as we take on the runners-up of the South. Well Done: Well done to the Eastern Harps seniors, who have made it through to the Connacht club final after a hard fought victory over Ballaghadereen of Mayo in Markievicz Park on Sunday. We wish them all the best in the final and the whole county are behind the team. Inter-Firms: Our own St. Brendan's Park in Corballa was the venue for the Connacht Junior Inter-Firms Semi Final on Saturday last. Sligo Gardaí defeated Ballina beverages in monsoon conditions.
