All roads lead to Roundwood this Saturday when Newtown ,the Junior B champions, take on the Junior A champions, Kiltegan in the Swan Cup. Throw in is at 7.30pm. It's been a long time since Newtown won this trophy, and it would be great to see it return to the village, so get out your black and white gear and head up to Roundwood on Saturday to support the lads. With one remaining match for Newtown senior team, they are still very much in contention for league honours. Sitting on top of the league, the final match should be a cracker. Keep an eye on the fixtures column for details of league matches. Our golf classic a few weeks ago was a resounding success in spite of the inclement weather on the day. Thanks to all who contributed to the success of the day, especially Sean McShane who made it all happen. Congratulation to Wicklow man Leighton Glynn on his terrific performance for Ireland against Australia in the compromise rules series in Australia.
