Gaels eager not to blow second chance
October 09, 2008
St Molaise Gaels selector Jimmy Langan believes that his side will have to be more ruthless on front of goals if they are to come out in top in the IFC final replay against Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Sunday.
The Gaels hit eleven wides during the drawn match and looked nervous throughout, while the amalgamation side were not on top form during the match either.
"We missed a lot of chances early on and this certainly affected our confidence," said Langan. "We lost our composure completely in attack and took the wrong option on too many occasions.
"This is something that we have got to work on because our forwards are normally very effective but we just didn't perform as a team the last day."
