An intriguing Roscommon senior football championship final sees Castlerea St Kevin's go to battle against Padraig Pearses in what can only be described as a novel pairing. All this year's favourites have been eliminated from the championship and now we are down to two teams that were ranked as outsides at the start of the campaign. Pearses caused the biggest surprise when they defeated reigning champions St Brigid's in the quarterfinal and they have shown some excellent form. Castlerea have also being in excellent form throughout the campaign and this is a tight one to call, but Pearses may just shade it and lift the title. Tweet
