Ryan calls for one more push

October 03, 2008
Termon manager Tommy Ryan has stressed that his players have worked their socks off to get to the county final and he is hopeful that hard work will pay off on Sunday. St Eunan's are massive favourites to lift the title on Sunday afternoon and the defending champions are a packed them with plenty of strength in depth. Ryan acknowledges the challenge that lies ahead, but has great belief in his players to pull off a major surprise in what would be one of the biggest shocks in Donegal football. "Look, we are under no illusions of the task that is facing us in the final. St Eunan's have improved as a team in recent years. They have class players all over the field and our task on Sunday us to go out and stay with them," said Ryan. "That will be our aim and if we can stick with them, we will be in with a chance, but realistically it is a tall order. Most of all we are hoping to do ourselves justice, something we felt we did not do five years ago."
