Sean Treacy's Golden Jubilee dinner dance

GAA PRESIDENT Nicky Brennan and a galaxy of some of the greatest names in hurling (Past and Present) are expected to be present for the 50th anniversary celebrations of Sean's Treacy's GAA Club in south London next month. St Boniface's Social Club, in Tooting Broadway will be the venue for the club's annual dinner-dance which this will honour a noted milestone in the famous club's history on Friday November 7th, commencing at 7.30pm for 8.00pm. Among the other guests spanning three counties attending the function will be Tipperary hurling legend of the three decades - Jimmy Doyle, stars of Tipperary's 1987 revival year - Pat Fox (Annacarty) and Paul Delaney (Roscrea) and former Tipperary All-Star also from Roscrea - John Carroll, Limerick and Garryspillane's TJ Ryan and last but by no means least a man on the brink of receiving his eight All-Star award Kilkenny's 'King' Henry Shefflin. The evening will also honour some of the greatest and most loyal club members and officers and there will also be a number of medal presentations. Entertainment on the evening will be provided by the Barry Owen Band. Tickets costing £40 are available from St Boniface's or by contacting any committee member.
