SFC final put back

All GAA fans in the county will have to wait another week to see the 2008 Roscommon senior football final after it was put back until Sunday October 12th.
The reason for the deferral is that the semi final meeting of Castlerea St Kevin's and Western Gaels was not decided until last weekend after a second replay.
Castlerea St Kevin's will now go on to compete in the decider where they will face Padraig Pearses in the final on Sunday week at Dr Hyde Park.
However, there could be a further twist in this fixture as if Pearses reach the SHC final, and then the football will not be played until Sunday, October 19th.
