This Saturday is the big day for our Reserve team, when they play St. Eunans in the Championship Co. Final. It is hoped that there will be a big turnout in support for the team on the day. The match is fixed for Glenswilly, with a throw in time of 5.15pm. The best of luck to Robert and the lads in this game.
The under 13's got their campaign off to a winning start last Saturday at home to Naomh Conaill. In a good all round team performance, players that featured well were, Jack Scally, Gavin Greene and Darren Curran. The team plays Ardara this weekend (away).
The senior team played at home to Glenswilly on Saturday evening and won the match on a score line of An Clochan Liath 2-7 Glenswilly 0-5. Leading comfortably at half time, Dungloe struggled in the second half but still held the upper hand to collect all two points. Best for Dungloe were Alan Boyle, Shaun Sharkey and Paul McGarvey. The reserve team were also in action away to Glenswilly on Sunday and they also collected two valuable league points, winning on a score line of An Clochan Liath 2-22 Glenswilly 0-4. Best for Dungloe were Martin McGarvey, Stephen Flanagan and Sean Bonner.
Naomh Pádraig club notes
The numbers drawn in this weeks lotto draw were 1, 7, 4, 6, 5, 3 and 2. There was no jackpot winner however 6 runner-up prizes of ?17 went to:

The seniors played their second last game of the season away to Convoy on Saturday evening. Naomh Pádraig held a five-point advantage at half time however were unable to hold onto that lead as the game finished all square on 1-10 to 0-13.
Training continues midweek on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.15pm in preparation for the vital final game against Red Hugh's.
The club hosted a very successful U10 blitz on Saturday past and the home side put on a great performance in both the 'A' and 'B' competition. Fine performances by Aidan McLaughlin, Chris O'Donnell, Stephen Slattery and Shane Orr ensured the 'A' side progressed to the final however they narrowly lost to a strong Burt side. The 'B' side also reached the final thanks to strong play from Sam Bonner, Jonathan Toye and Denim Wallace however were also unfortunate to narrowly lose to Moville.
The club will hold a Scór na nÓg trial on Sunday 12 October in the clubhouse at 4pm. The competition is confined to children from the parish aged between 9 - 16 years. For more information, please contact Eileen McLaughlin on 07493 83312.
The Parish League continues on Sunday from 12.30pm to 1.45pm. A bus costing ?2 will leave Clar at 12pm and will also stop at St. Mary's Hall at 12.20pm.
The club's annual Night of the Races will take place in Mary Deeney's on Friday 24 October. Horses will be on sale from Club Members for ?10 while race sponsors will also be required. Anyone interested in sponsoring a race can arrange this with any committee member, and as always all support greatly appreciated.
There will also be an underage Fancy Dress Halloween Disco in the clubhouse on Sunday 26th October. Keep an eye on notes for further details.
Finally there are a very limited number of Donegal Yearbooks still for sale. This award winning publication gives an excellent account of Donegal GAA, especially its coverage of the clubs. It's well worth ?15 and can be purchased from any committee member. There are also one or two Kit Bags remaining and these are priced at ?25.

St Eunan's club notes
N. Adhamhnáin
The Seniors and Reserves had League ties against Ardara at home on Saturday evening. The Seniors won by 0-12 to 0-07 while the Reserves won by 2-11 to 0-09. This weekend sees both sides contest their respective county finals. The Reserve final goes ahead on Saturday at 5:15pm in Glenswilly against Dungloe, while on Sunday, all roads lead to Ballybofey as the Seniors bid to retain their title against Termon at 4pm.
This year is the 25th anniversary of '83 Championship win and that winning team will be honoured at Sunday's final.
The club would like to thank everyone who helped steward at the Intermediate Finals on Saturday evening last. Congratulations to MacCumhaills on taking the Intermediate title. Good luck to the Gaels players in the Div2 Minor final, which is a curtain raiser to the Senior County final
Thanks to everyone who helped decorate the town in advance of the County final. Well done especially to "the row" on another outstanding display!

Congratulations to the U13 Div1 side who won the Northern Board Championship title on a scoreline of 4-03 to 1-06 against Termon on Sunday evening. This Saturday the U15 Div 1 side are away to Cloughaneely to play in the Championship (knockout) at noon.
Sunday morning coaching does not go ahead this Sunday because of the County Final in Ballybofey. It will resume on the following Sunday with the U8 and U10 street league final series of games.
U16 hurlers have reached Division 1 league final and will play in the A Championship this Thursday. Time and venue tba. The U12 hurlers performed very well in the Ballyshannon blitz on Sunday losing out in their final in a very competitive game. U12/U14 hurling training continues every Tuesday at 5.15pm. U8/U10 hurling training every Friday at 6 pm. All aspiring hurlers/camogie players welcome.
Congratulations to Sean McEwen and Jacinta on their recent wedding in Belfast.
The club would like to extend its sympathies to the family of senior panellist John Carr on the death of John's grandfather in Cavan.
Letterkenny club notes
The U 13s played Downings on Saturday last. The game was keenly contested with the visitor running out winners at the end. Best to show for Gaels on the day were Aaron Diver, Eoin Kelly and Jack Boyce. The U13s have now completed their season.
Thanks to the men in charge Charlie, Michael and Pat for all their assistance. The U15s have received a bye in the first round of the championship. They are expected to play their first match on Saturday 18th October. The Club are this week preparing for their participation in McCumhaill Park on County Final day Sunday 5th October . The Minor team will take the field in the championship Final against Naomh Ultan with a 2pm throw inn.Everyone at the club wishes the very best of luck to the players and mentors. Everyone involved in the club should make a special effort and come along and support the team.
The Main Pitch is now closed for a few weeks due to some remedial work. The contractor has asked that matches training should cease until further notice. .
