Burt had made a flying start with Ronan McLaughlin's goal helping them to a 1-4 to 0-1 lead after 20 minutes. However, they still held a 1-6 to 1-3 lead at the break. The decisive score of the second half came from Campbell who fielded superbly on the edge of the square before blasting past McDermott to put the Finn Valley side ahead for the first time in the 40th minute, and further goals from Dwyer and Maxwell sealed the win.
