While manager Sean Boylan is expected to announce his panel of players later this week for the International Rules series that will take place in a month's time in Perth and Melbourne training has been taking place already and Dermot Earley and Emmet Bolton have been part of the set-up.
Both Kildare men will be hopeful of inclusion in the travelling party the games take place on 24 October and on 31 October with the final game being played in the MCG Melbourne. Because of the Eadestown man's involvement in the squad, the club's Intermediate Football Championship relegation semi-final against Ballykelly has been switched to this Sunday.
Kildare of course have has a number of representatives on international rules duty including Anthony Rainbow , Enda Murphy and Niall Buckley. The Suncroft man was a most influential art of the panel since 1998 and Enda travelled to Australia in 2003 and Buckley travelled in 2001. Dermot Earley has been involved in many of the campaigns.
