Munroe looks to mental strength

Tyrone minor manager Raymond Munroe
Tyrone minor football boss Raymond Munroe has said "it's all about getting it right in the head" ahead of his team's ESB All-Ireland final replay against Mayo in Longford. The sides fought out an exciting 0-14 each draw at Croke Park on Sunday, and the Carrickmore man believes the mental attitude of his players will be the crucial factor in Saturday's replay at Pearse Park. "There's no way we're going to get any fitter or any better in terms of skill levels. It's all about getting it right in the head and that's what we have to work on," he said. Munroe is convinced his highly-rated side is capable of showing significant improvement for the replay. "We don't feel we reached anything near the level that we were at against Meath. So, knowing that it was done before, we feel we can attain that again if we put in the commitment." Munroe admitted that Tyrone were fortunate to get a second chance, but praised the character of his players for refusing to accept defeat. "The fact that our players continue to play to the very final whistle, there's always a rub of the green or a break that will be in your favour."
