The U-14 tournament in Tullylish has been put back to Saturday 4th October, more details at training, training this week on Thursday at 7.00pm at the Quarter Road. The U-12s played well against Shamrocks on Sunday in Newry. They eventually lost the game but made a great comeback in the second half running the Newry team close right to the end. Scorers were Ronan Grant (0-3), Connor Cunningham (0-3), Gerard McDowell (0-2), Conor McCartan (0-2) and Ciaran Trimble (0-2). Well done also to Cailum McGrath, Ryan McKay, Martin McVeigh, Niall Rooney, Ellen Marks, Amy Marks, Dean Murray, Sarah Cunningham, Sinead Grant, Ryan McAstocker and Orlaith Smith for a very exciting game.. Apologies to Ronan McGivern whose name was accidently missed in last weeks notes after a superb performance alongside the rest of the U-8 squad in Rostrevor. U-8 training continues at the Primary School pitch each Sunday at 11.00am. The next Committee Meeting will take place on Monday 6th October, at 8.00pm in the clubrooms. The Club, Committee and members of Glasdrumman would also like to send their condolences to the McVeigh family circle on the sad death of Marie Morrison.
