It was a great honour and well done to Mark! Ramor U-16's; Ramor U-16's have reached the semi-final spot of the league. Their opponents will be Bailieborough. We await a fixture for this game. Ramor Minors; The Ramor Minors will contest the quarter-final of the Championship. They will play the winners of Mullahoran and Laragh. Those teams drew after extra time on Friday, so Ramor's game may not be played for a while. Ramor U-21's; Training as normal, also awaiting next fixture. Ramor Juniors; Sadly, the Ramor Juniors have bowed out of the Junior B Championship at the first hurdle. They journeyed to Drumgoon on Saturday last to play the hosts albeit with a depleted squad. Despite a gallant effort from everyone, it was not to be;  Final score; Drumgoon 1-13, Ramor; 1-9. Ramor Seniors; There has been a change of date for Ramor's semi-final game V Cavan Gaels. The game will be played on Sunday evening, Sep.28th at 7.30 pm in Breffni Park. The fixture was originally for Saturday evening. Ramor have been busy with their preparations for the game, and despite having the tag of underdogs, we hope they will put up strong opposition to the Gaels. It should be a great game of football, so everyone turn out to support the Ramor lads on Sunday evening. Congratulations to manager P.J. Buckley who was honoured at Croke Park on Sunday last. P.J was a member of the All Ireland winning Dublin side who defeated Galway in 1983. Congratulations also to a magnificent Tyrone team on their All Ireland success. It is indeed great to have the Sam Maguire cup back in Ulster again. Playground; Congratulations to the Playground Committee and Virginia Dev. Association from Ramor Utd, on the occasion of the official opening of the new playground  on Friday evening last. It is a wonderful amenity for the entire community, and we are delighted to have it located at our grounds. Wishing Virginia Development Association well in their endeavours for many years to come. Congratulations also to Sean Lynch and Joanne Brady who were married last week in Como, Italy. Sean, a staunch Ramor man will be back from his honeymoon just in time to cheer Ramor on in the semi-final! A large contingent of family and friends made the trip to Como to help the couple celebrate their wedding. Keep a close eye on the Ramor web-site in the near future for some photos! Congratulations also to Ray Cole who scooped the Ramor Slotto Jackpot of Eu 9,600 two weeks ago!
