Keith Hamilton scored 1-2 for Boardsmill
Boardsmill 2-16 Clann Na Gael 2-8 Boardsmill ensured their Division 1 status for 2009 with a comprehensive victory over their Athboy opponents in this Division 1 HL relegation playoff. The 'Mill dominated the opening period but their first five attacks ended with five wides and their eventual opening score came from a Niall O'Rourke free. Athboy hit back with a goal from their first serious attack courtesy of their centre forward.
