ST MALACHY'S G.A.C CASTLEDAWSON Month's Mind The Month's Mind mass for Dolores Heaney will be held next Monday night(22nd September) at 7.30pm in Bellaghy Chapel. Lotto Numbers drawn in the weekly Lotto on Monday 15th September 2008 were 4, 18, 19 & 23. As there was no winner, the Lucky Dips went to Paul McLaughlin and Niall Shivers. Niall has decided to treat his chums Colum Lavery and Micky O'Kane to a slap-up meal in Wilma's on Friday night. Next week's draw will be on Tuesday night(23rd), with the jackpot totalling a huge £3500. All Ireland Ticket Draw The Club are having a draw for 2 seated All Ireland Football tickets; tickets are £5 or three for £10. Tickets can be purchased from all committee members and players, with the draw being held on Friday night at 8pm. Club Tracksuit & Jackets Due to the popular demand of the club jersey and hoodie last year, the club are bringing out a tracksuit as well as a rain proof jacket in the next couple of weeks; these are for all ages and are sure to be as popular as last years items. There will be samples of both items for everyone to try on, just to make sure everything fits. It will be the same arrangement as last year; pay when you order. Keep an eye on the club notes and website for further details. Replica Jersies There are still a number of replica jersies for sale at the very reasonable price of £25. Anyone interested can contact Antony Brown on 07977 460775. Available sizes as follows;- Ages 5-6(6 left), Ages 7-8(4 left), Ages 9-10(1 left) & Ages 13-14(1 left). Poker Night The Club are running a Poker Night in the pavilion on Friday 3rd October, commencing at 8.30pm; a Poker Night will also be held every first Friday of the month thereafter. Come down and chance your luck! Senior Football The Seniors entertain Slaughtneil this coming Saturday in the league. Throw-in is at 1pm, come out and support the team. Youth U-16 Football Training for the U-16's continues on Monday's in the Broagh at 6.30pm. All to attend; any problems, contact Jimmy Mulholland or Michael Gribbin. Underage Blitz The underage football teams continued their recent rich vein of form with some very impressive displays at the excellent Foreglen Underage Blitz on Saturday past. St Malachy's fielded 4 teams and each performed exceptionally well. The under 6 and under 8 teams showed commendable skill and stamina to win all their games. The Under 10s and 12s both recovered from narrow defeats in the group stages to defeat the Hosts Foreglen in their respective finals. So yet more success for our under age teams. Hearty congratulations to all players, parents and coaches. St Malachy's Youth Committee wish to extend our thanks to Foreglen for hosting such a successful tournament. Under 8's - Fearghal McKenna, Cain McMullan, Owen Howe, Ruari Keenan, Liam Young, Oran Kennedy, Rosheinda McPeake, Liam Stewart, Enda Madden, Jack Bresland. Under 10's - Luke Doyle, Conor McCann, Joe Craig, Padraig McAtamney, Ajmal Mohammed Shakeer, Cathal McErlean, Ryan Kennedy, Shea Conway, Matthew Young, Frances Connery. Under 12's - Pearse Loughran, Oran Mullan, Eimear McElwee, Niall Keenan, Ryan Connery, Bridget McMullan, Cara O'Hagan, Jordan Shivers. Camogie Underage : Training for the Under 12's continues every Wednesday at 6pm. Training for Primary 7, U14s & U16s continues every Wednesday & Friday evening from 5.30pm until 6.45pm. Everyone available needs to attend. Senior : The girls took part in the Kilmacud Sevens last weekend and performed very well. They won all 3 of their group matches, beat the hosts Kilmacud in the quarters but eventually succumbed to a very strong Leitrim outfit in the semi-final. Well done to all concerned, they did themselves & the club proud. Clothing Bank : there will now be a clothing bank located inside the club car park. All textiles, such as sheets, curtains, clothes, shoes, belts and bags may be put in, but must be clean and dry. The car park can be accessed at all times. This is now a permanent feature and can be used by anyone. Notice The committee would like to remind everyone that dogs are not allowed on to either of the pitches at any time. Also, all dog litter to be 'cleaned up' from around the pitch by the owner - no excuses. Dancing Classes The McNicholl School of Irish Dancing are continuing classes in the Pavilion every Monday night at 7pm sharp. Everyone welcome, especially beginners.
