Carr sweating on trio as O'Hanlon returns

September 10, 2008
Tipperary Under 21 hurling boss Declan Carr is sweating on the fitness of three of his players ahead of this Sunday's All-Ireland final with Kilkenny. Defender Joey McLoughney looks to be the most doubtful to feature against the Cats, while injuries to John O'Keefe and Michael Cahill are also a concern for the Tipp boss. However Danny O'Hanlon's return to the squad should provide Carr with a major boost going into the decider with a substitute appearance very likely for the Carrick Swan marksman. In March of last year, the young O'Hanlon struck two goals for the Premier County's senior side in a National League game at Nowlan Park against All-Ireland Champions Kilkenny, but has since struggled to keep his place in the starting 15 due to a combination of form loss and injuries.
