Killeigh's second coming. Saturday 30th AugustJHC A Play off Killeigh 1-9 Killurin 0-11. Killeigh made sure of 2nd spot in the group following this one point victory over local rivals Killurin. Andrew Brophy's  point opened the scoring for Killeigh, both teams traded scores in a close first half where Killeigh's defence coped with Killurin's attacks. Killeigh got a goal when Paul O'Rourke playing at no 14, finished a free to the net, Killeigh led 1-4 to 0-5. Both sides added points to leave the half time score, Killeigh 1-5 Killurin 0-7.   In the second half both teams scored early points, but Killeigh's forwards found it hard to get scores for a long time, as Killurin began to dominate.During this spell keeper Ger Mc Donald made a couple of excellent  saves to keep Killeigh ahead. In the last few minutes Killurin went a point ahead, but Killeigh equalised from a Padraic Horan free, and sub Craig Kelly repeated his heroics of last week, this time scoring the winning point in the final minute. Final score Killeigh 1-9 Killurin 0-11.
