Tyrone keep the faith

August 29, 2008
Unsurprisingly, Mickey Harte has opted to keep the faith in his side that defeated Dublin by 12 points earlier this month for this Sunday's All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Wexford. It means that Collie Holmes maintains his place at centre-field with Enda McGinley, after being a late inclusion against the Leinster Champions in place of Ryan Mellon. Both Mellon and McGuigan start on the bench, as does Colm Cavanagh, who has recovered from the collar-bone injury he picked last month against Westmeath in the All-Ireland qualifiers. Colm's brother, Sean, resumes his position at full-forward with Tommy McGuigan and Colm McCullagh either side of the big attacker as the Red Hands look to reach their first All-Ireland decider in three years when they pipped Kerry to a second ever crown. Tyrone (SFC v Wexford): J Devine; R McMenamin, Justin McMahon, C Gourley; D Harte, C Gormley, P Jordan; C Holmes, E McGinley; B Dooher, B McGuigan, Joe McMahon; T McGuigan, S Cavanagh, C McCullagh.
