Supporters club news

August 27, 2008
With county team activity now ceased the main energy of the Kingspan Century sponsored Supporters Club will now be directed towards domestic matters with the draws for the All Ireland senior hurling and senior football championship final tickets taking priority. The cards for the draw for the senior hurling championship final tickets have already been distributed around the county, to clubs and through various other retail outlets, and the Supporters Club is hoping for at least as good a response as they got last year. To be in with a chance of winning two tickets for the All Ireland senior hurling championship final costs ?2 per line. The draw will be held in John Joe Cunninghams in Carrickmacross on the Friday night prior to the All Ireland senior hurling championship final, i.e. Friday, September 5th. Following that draw the cards for the draw for the tickets for the All Ireland senior football championship final will be distributed with that draw taking place on Friday, September 19th. The Supporters Club's very successful 4Homes sponsored half-time draw continued at the two championship venues last weekend. Brendan Farrell of Doohamlet went home from Clontibret one hundred Euro the richer while in the draw in Castleblayney on Sunday evening Margaret McNally of Cremartin picked up the prize. Congratulations to both.
