Seniors: Last week turned out to be a great one for our senior side. With a hard fought victory over Aughnamullen in tough conditions, the boys reached the semi final of the championship. This is the first time we have been in a championship semi final since 2004 and this achievement gives the team a timely boost. Well done to players and management. This team were very unfortunate in the league and now they have a great opportunity to bring some senior silverware back to the club. Congratulations and best wishes are extended to Amelia Murphy - Mc Cormack who recently won the Senior Ladies Sean Nos singing competition in the All Ireland Fleadh. This is the first time in many years that this award has come back to County Monaghan. Amelia has represented Emyvale GAA for many years in Scor na nOg and Scor Sinsear and has brought Ulster and All Ireland success to our club.
