Tipperary and Clare are through to the Munster MFC semi-finals following wins over Waterford and Limerick respectively last night.

Tipp gained a measure of revenge for last weekend's surprise Munster SFC loss to Waterford with a 1-14 to 0-9 victory. They led by 0-8 to 0-3 at half-time before substitute Alex Coppinger's 51st minute goal settled it.

Clare came from behind to beat Limerick 3-5 to 0-9 thanks to majors from David Cahill and Sean Fennell (two, one penalty). Tipp and Clare will now play in the final group game before meeting again in the Phase 1 final for the Darrel Darcy Cup. Both will then progress to semi-finals against Cork or Kerry.
