Naomh Conaill began their quest for back-to-back Donegal SFC titles with a comfortable 3-20 to 0-6 victory over Milford in Glenties this afternoon.

Goals from Dermot Molloy and Charles McGuinness gave the hosts a commanding 2-13 to 0-3 lead at the half time break, as they put their recent Covid-19 scare firmly behind them. Molloy and McGuinness fired 2-8 between them while Eunan Doherty grabbed the Glenties' third goal.

Today's second Donegal SFC clash in Towney was also a one-sided affair which saw Kilcar ease to a 4-21 to 0-7 win at Termon's expense. Conor Doherty (2), Stephen McBrearty and Michael Hegarty bagged the goals for the home team who led by 2-13 to 0-4 at the interval.

Meanwhile, at Eamonn O'Beirne Memorial Park, Gerard Ward scored 0-8 to help Glenfin to a 1-12 to 1-6 defeat of Killybegs.
