St Michael's got their Donegal SFC campaign off to a flying start with an impressive 3-5 to 0-8 win at home to Glenswilly yesterday evening.

The first goal arrived courtesy of Michael Langan after 10 seconds and Colin McFadden added further majors in the second half.

A missed penalty from Michael Murphy was a key moment approaching half time which saw the sides level, 1-2 to 0-5. Donegal marksman Murphy had his spot kick saved by St Michael's goalkeeper Oisin Cannon.

County man Langan was forced off with an injury at the break. St Michael's will be hoping it's nothing too serious as they take on Milford next weekend.

Elsewhere on Friday, a dominant first half performance laid the foundations for St Eunan's 0-15 to 1-5 victory at Bundoran.
